What extension name would be fine to use is it .html or .htm :confused:

You can use both if your site is an HTML website. I prefer to use html though.

.htm versus .html - if you forget your MS animosity you will realize that you save one character - one character on every request for the page, one character in the referrer entry and one character for every appropriate link at the delivered web page. this speeds up the download time and saves bandwidth

The difference between .html and .htm has nothing to do with Netscape. It's a hangover from the days when Windows and DOS files needed to be no longer than 8 characters followed by a full point and 3 characters. *nix servers used the .html extension, and Windows used .htm. Now you can use either on both systems.
